Price for adult admission with no concessions is £3 and £2 for Senior Citizen which is about right. The intimate but nicely laid out museum falls into four main areas Boats and ships, Royal Marines History, Town History and some model boats.

My main area of interest is as the Royal Marines History relating to Deal which was a major factor in the development of the town and this exhibition makes for a valuable precursor before going on the Royal Marine Heritage Trail which is free.

The museum is open seasonally and run by friendly and helpful staff.

This Museum is a hive of information with lots of memorabilia. It is tucked away in what appears to be someones back garden. It has been made up to be quite authentic with the WW2 shelter. Very good value for the money. We spent a few hours here looking at everything. Well worth the visit.

A brilliant little museum that fully complements the town of Deal. It gives a picture of Deal throughout the ages and is manned solely by volunteers. A must when visiting the town of Deal.
