“Just what we needed”

Beautiful lodge, nice area so peaceful, everything we needed for a nice weekend away. I brought my husband here for his 30th as a surprise , we were both taken back when we arrived on how nice the place was, and true to the photos I had seen and the reviews I read before. Very happy. The time went so quick wished we booked for a week but enjoyed the time we had. Loved the hot tub made you feel so relaxed , cinema screen was amazing for all those good movies in front of the cosy fire. You had board games, books, DVDs, wii games plus a tree house with a zip wire and trampoline for the kids. Everything was thought of carefully, so clean and tidy. The only down side for us was the bed it wasn't the best, didn't get a good sleep for the two nights it was uncomfortable that is the only bad thing I can say about this place everything else was perfect. There was a lovely pub called the Royal Oak just down the road beautiful pub great food for a great price, but it does get busy on Sunday's for roast so would recommend you booked in advance. Thank you to Michelle and Chris for all your help and the lovely welcome basket full of goodies, and the bubbly and milk in the fridge and the little touch with the birthday balloons and banner was a nice thought. We would recommend to our friends and family but for a week as it is a bit dear for just 2 nights may return some day or try another one of the Kent cottages.

“Perfect getaway”
Reviewed 19 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

Hiring the lodge was an easy and quick process with lots of communication between myself and Michelle. It was a breeze to arrive late on a Friday night, and we were greeted with a hamper full of local snacks and a bottle of bubbly.
The lodge was clean and well presented with every detail catered for.
It was a perfect size for 6 guests with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and of course the hot tub was a real hit. Perfect with the country back drop.
Well located, within 20 mins of both Canterbury and Whitstable which are great towns to visit.
My only criticism would be that the lodge is quite hard to find at night on the main road, as it is quite dark. A light on the Honey Lodge sign would help greatly.

“Beautiful Lodge and relaxing stay”
Reviewed 15 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

My partner and I stayed at Honey Lodge last weekend with our dog and had the most lovely, relaxing weekend for our anniversary. The lodge is very clean, beautiful and very cosy and is absolutely perfect for a relaxing weekend/ week getaway! On arrival we were greeted by a hamper of local produce, prosecco and an anniversary card which I thought was such a lovely, thoughtful touch. The kitchen is stocked with every utensil needed, sofa and beds are really cosy and the garden and hot tub are just incredible with amazing views. The lodge is also a 5 minute drive to Blean Woods which are perfect for a good old hike and there is also a lovely pub a 2 minute walk away. I couldn't recommend the lodge enough it really was so enjoyable and will definitely be returning!!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our second visit to Honey Lodge - everything you could want awaits you here. Blissfully comfortable accommodation. From the moment you walk through the front door to be greeted by the thoughtful welcome pack, bubbly in the fridge, flowers etc. to the time spent counting the stars whilst relaxing in the hot tub, you are guaranteed relaxation all the way.

Enjoy my stay at the Honey Lodge, 3 of us + Dog. The place is finished to a very high standard and in good work order. location was good with the pub up the road allow dogs and the location allow 10 mins drive to most of the coast line around that area. With both Tesco and Sainsbury with 6mins drive away or you can pop into Winstable

Access to the property was good, and plenty of parking for cars.
