Spent a lovely weekend here in October. Good size room with a really comfortable bed with views over the lake. I can highly recommend the spa - the massage booked with Stevie was an excellent relaxation. The food and choice in the Brasserie restaurant was excellent (and reasonably priced). Service was perhaps a little slow on the Saturday, (there was a big Round Table dinner in the function suite), but the staff were charming and a relaxing dinner was just what we wanted. The breakfast was also excellent, with fine views over the lake to the yacht moorings beyond the road.
Even though the ferry means that travel time to the Isle of Wight is relatively long, it is certainly worth it, especially if you havn't visited the island in many years.

Room Tip: Choose a lake view room (as rooms on the other side look over the car park)

Where do I begin, spent an overnight with daughter in law and future daughter in law in family room with an interconnecting door. We were made to feel very welcome by ALL the staff, location was beautiful, food superb, hotel wonderful and spa treatments excellent, will definitely go back, if we can't afford to stay will go for the day and treatments

Room Tip: Some rooms overlook the lake, we had a lovely large room but there are suites available for a special oocasion

Lovely lakeside location, spacious rooms and splendid open lounge and bar area for entertaining guests. Family friendly with on site spa to meet the needs of our party. Friends consider it to better than their time share hotel in Malta.
This was the first swim with my brother in the same pool for over 45years. Lots of laughs and great way to recharge ones batteries. We all thought we were on holiday yet had not taken a plane to get to destination. Food and service was excellent with an excellent buffet breakfast overlooking the glistening water.
Highly recommended - we will return.

Room Tip: Ask for a Lakeside view

We spent four wonderful days away in the Isle of Wight, which were fantatsic - great places to visit, food, drink and fun! But made all the more special by the stay at the Lakeside Park hotel & spa. As a group of 30 this need some early planning and the General Manager & his hotel team made the job a pleasure. Always helpful, making the arrangements straight forward, booking the ferry crossings for each couple and providing us with very comfortbale, well presented and maintained rooms, excellent friendly service throughout our stay and a memorable dinner in the Top Deck part of the restaurant on Saturday evening - excellent food, great service and allowing us to spend a happy fun evening together with lots of laughter and late service at the bar! Will definitely be visiting again and staying again soon as we can. Thank you Stephen and the team! First class!

Room Tip: Ask for a Lake View. The small supplement is well worth it. But they are all peaceful and very comfortable.

My wife, 7 month old daughter and I stayed at this hotel as part of a long weekend visit to the Isle of Wight. Room was clean, however it was small and became quite cramped with a travel cot (for which there is a £20 charge, despite the steep £165 per night accommodation charge). Unfortunately there wasn't a fridge in the room, which made it difficult to store the little ones food.
The spa was small- with a tiny pool which was cold.
The breakfast had no variation with the same food daily. The food was average. The service was generally outstanding, with very pleasant staff.
Overall 3 stars.
