This little cottage is amazing - in a beautiful setting less than a minute's walk away from an almost private beach. That's if you can bear to leave the stunning, totally private terraced garden where you can watch the ships and sailing boats pass by whilst you listen to all the bird song in the surrounding trees.
The cottage is so light and bright, with modern fittings and really clever use made of the space. The guest book shows many couples return again and again - we can completely see why,
Tastefully decorated and secluded location with well equipped kitchen. Driving in Bonchurch and access to the property is not for the faint hearted driver though, but Lucy gives clear directions and also good tips for local things to see and do and places to eat. The IOW is beautiful and unspoilt and well worth a visit. Would highly recommend.
Clean and comfortable with bags of character and charm.
Away from the throng but only a thirty minute stroll into Ventnor.
Right on the costal path, with great access to the beach and woodland.
Be prepared for hills and keep your eyes open for red squirrels.
This is a lovely coastal cottage close to the sea that is ideal for a quiet getaway. It is very comfortable but minimalist making it very easy to feel at home and relax in.
It is situated near to the coastal footpath with Ventnor and beyond or Shanklin in comfortable walking distance and there are plenty of restaurants, pubs and tea rooms close by.
The rear garden with its raised deck provides wide views of the sea and there is nothing better than sitting up there spotting ships moving up and down the channel.
The week passed by all too quickly and we wish we were still there. This is definitely on the list for another stay.
