The food is always freshly cooked and beautifully presented. Staff are friendly, efficient and nothing is too much trouble.
A lovely little gem tucked away and well worth seeking out.

Spotted this little gem as we had a wander around Leominster before continuing on our long journey. Good choice available for lunch including various daily specials. We both had jacket potatoes and they were lovely (one of the best I have had when eating out), with plenty of filling and lovely little side salad. Unfortunately didn't try any of the cakes on offer but they had enough to tempt and suit all tastes...some interesting combinations available!

Good choice of light lunches. Great cakes to suit all tastes. Scones with interesting recipes - worth a taste. Great welcome. It is so popular you have to choose you time to find a seat- always a good sign.

Spotted this place as we parked our car on a day out to Leominster (actually specifically a trip to the cook shop) and noticed that although it was tucked away in a shopping mews it had a steady stream of customers. By lunch time we were in search of a friendly place with good quality food to take our two year old grandson and after trawling round Leominster surveying various eateries, we decided to return to The Buttercup. There was still a steady stream of people so we took this as a good sign. The place was spacious enough to accommodate the pushchair and it was bright and unpretentious so we took a chance. So glad we did! The food, fairly simple fare, was delicious and well presented, and the coffee was made congenially to our plea for 'extra hot' - so many places get stuffy or annoyed with that request! Nothing was too much trouble, staff were delightful especially the blonde lady who served us, and every morsel was eaten because it was so good. We would definitely visit again and would like to thank all at The Buttercup for providing such a lovely experience.
