We actually stayed from January to end of May 2020 and then whenever we need to be in Harpenden for a few days we always choose the Harpenden House.
The apartment is comfortable and adequate for four guests although most of the time it was only two of us staying. Apartment No. 4 is equipped with all the necessities like washing machine, dishwasher, oven, electric stove, and a smart TV. The host/landlord Mr. Tony McFarland is a very friendly person, he is very humble and helpful at all times.
The flats are maintained very well many thanks to him and his housekeepers. Now with Covid he and his staff make sure the flats are kept impeccably clean and every effort is made to provide more useful materials to guests, like masks, and hand sanitizers and there is a hand sanitizer at the entrance to every flat. You feel safe in Harpenden House. Tony is a forward thinking person, and he is very accommodating and is genuinely caring towards the guests.
The apartments are ideally located close to supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, boutiques etc. Everything is within walking distance. You cannot ask for more.
If you ever need a place to stay in Harpenden don’t think twice just go for it. You will be looked after well.

Very conveniently located, nicely appointed , very helpful managers.
We enjoyed our stay very much. Easy to get to the train station, local restaurants and family in our case.

very comfortable, central location in town, we settle in at once and start living as at home. Not all apartments are spacious enough for more than 2 persons
