“Lovely little house with a friendly welcome and great location”

This little space would make a gorgeous romantic hideaway, but was also perfect for our little family of 4. The room is spacious enough to fit a child's mattress and cot on the floor with room to walk around and easily access the breakfast table. The set-up, provisions and welcome were wonderful, including homemade croissants and bread! Even the horses in the neighbouring field were friendly. Thank you Lynn.

“A perfect get-away”

A comfortable and cosy little cottage in a peaceful location in a beautiful part of the New Forest - with a wonderfully generous breakfast provided. The owners were extremely helpful and welcoming, both before and during our stay.

“Lovely”
Reviewed 3 April 2017 for a stay in March 2017

We stayed as part of a 4 day break in the New forest. The first thing I will say about booking this accommodation was that we were able to book securely via trip advisor and PayPal, you hear of so many horror stories about people getting ripped off with private rentals, that was a must for us. We had great comms with the owner (Lynn) prior to arrival, about how to get there, how to get in, what we would like to eat as part of our B&B. My husband also asked questions about local cycling and horse riding and she was very obliging.
We found the place relatively easily to find with a sat nav and its really gorgeous. Beautiful location, very peaceful, quite remote and private. Ponies roaming on the green across the road. The cottage/chapel was very cute, separate from the house and tastefully decorated inside with a log burner. Visiting in March it was cold at night so we lit the log burner and the under floor heating was a nice addition, especially in the bathroom. We travelled with our young daughter so Lynn provided us with a travel cot which was in excellent condition (we brought our own blankets) and it was all set up when we arrived. We met Lynn later and she is very friendly and nice. Breakfast was delicious, fresh and a real treat before some busy days ahead.
This is the first time we have stayed in somewhere other than a hotel on holiday and I can say we really enjoyed it. The only thing I missed about not being in a hotel here was a made bed and a clean around each day.
I think if we travel to the New Forest with our daughter again we might need somewhere a bit larger but I would love to stay again with my husband.

“Short break”
Reviewed 2 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

We have just had a couple of night away at this lovely little hideaway spot.

So quiet and comfortable.

Breakfast was excellent. All very fresh and delivered to the door.

Nice little wood burner and everything you need for a quiet break.
