What a fabulous place! Nestled in the trees, camouflaged from sight, overlooking the marina - this was our home for 3 nights. Beautiful interior with all the necessary utensils, crockery & washing up facilities. Wonderful outside bbq & seating area, with pretty strings of lights at night to guide you down the pathway to the shower/wc block in the marina.
This really is a little piece of heaven.
A short stroll to the town, with an abundance of pubs & lovely people. Dog friendly, with treats offered & gardens to sit in. Plenty of walks around Emsworth Harbour or Thorney Island. 20 minute drive to West Wittering beach, 10 minutes to the gorgeous village of Bosham & 25 minutes to Portchester Castle (with the second tallest keep in England).
This was the perfect short getaway from the hustle & bustle of everyday life. Watch the sunset with a chilled glass of wine & let all cares drift away!
Thank you so much Andre & Kim for providing this fantastic escape, we will return one day x
We came for half term a little nervous as not really campers. We bought all but the kitchen sink and didn’t need half off it. The yurt has been set up with everything in mind. It was dry and cosy, the bed was the most comfortable I’ve slept in away from home. The communication pre and during stay was brilliant and Andre is a really great helpful host. The area is tranquil and we ate out on the bbq supplied every night. The sun didnt always shine but we had one of the best U.K. breaks we’ve had. The kids loved the outdoors and learnt to make a fire ( in the pit provided) I am particularly funny about public toilets but the shower block was incredibly clean even the onsite loo was clean and actually very well presented for a shed. Would def recommend and would def return, thank you Andre and Kim xx
We stayed 2 nights with our children over the Christmas period and we truly had a wonderful break Andre is a fab host , the yurt was more than equiped for our stay , cosy and warm and a magical experience with the Christmas tree in there . Thank you for a wonderful stay we will be back !
Fantastic location on "secret "wooded peninsula in marina. Only 3 yurts, each with its own plot. Our yurt was very comfortable and clean. Decor great fun - our grandchildren visited us and didn't want to leave - they particularly loved the retro radiogram. A lovely (smart) cafe in the marina where we had breakfast one morning. The toilets and showers were in a block in the marina accessed by security code - very clean with plenty of hot water. For us they were a 5 minute walk, but would be less for someone younger & fitter! Lovely views and easy access to Emsworth.
We booked a very last minute night away and were not disappointed. The yurt was really well set up with everything you'd need. The water bed was a new experience for us but actually really comfy!! The location is like a little hidden paradise, pretty fairy lights show you the way once the sun has gone down and each yurt feels really private. We sat and watched the sun set, drinking prosecco and fuelling the fire pit with pine cones. Bliss. Would definitely recommend.
