We travelled as a private group for a cream tea visit on Tuesday afternoon, and what a treat we had! We had a lovely tour and have learnt so much about Lavender and products, perhaps we will not take it so much for granted from now on. May we wish you continued success and thank you again. I will now make a lovely cuppa of Lavender tea!

My wife and I took our 2 children to an open day at the Lavender Fields two weekends ago.

What a stunning place to visit!! There were attractions for the children, tractor rides, plenty of delicious food and drinks and free tours around the Lavender Fields.

Parking was free and we only had to pay £4 each per adult. Children were free and considering tractor Ted was there, what a bargain!!

The Cream Teas and Ploughmans were delicious and very reasonably priced!!

To sum it up, a fantastic place to visit with helpful, polite staff. And we plan to return every year.

We travelled 30 miles to get to The Lavender Fields....... it was one field by a fairly busy road, not very tranquil or scenic. The Lavender itself was very sparse, with wild flowers at intermittent points, the rest of the field was very barren and looked like a waste land. The event on Facebook was advertised as a great family day out - we lasted less than an hour. The £4 entry fee per person was extortionate for what was on offer and to then have to pay extra for tractor rides made the whole event rather unreasonable. We felt it was rather a wasted journey and morning out for us at an unreasonable cost.
The shop was well stocked and had some lovely bits but you can visit this anytime. We just found that what we saw on the website did not match up to the reality of this place which is essentially large farm buildings with a couple of independent shops in a small courtyard.
We may have just been unlucky - it has been a hot and dry spell but there still wouldn't of been the picturesque row upon row of blooming lavender that one was expecting based on what was planted around.

I've visited a few times over the years. This year was very disappointing, probably down to long dry spell. The usual wonderful array of wild flowers was missing, just a lot of yellow with a few cornflowers and daisies in amongst it. The rows of lavender were very sparse, with lots of black plastic lying around. Just looked very sad and past its best. Hopefully new lavender will be planted for 2019 as the word "field" is not very accurate at the moment.

.. by the sparse Lavender Fields !! Perhaps with the lengthy good weather this event should have happened in JUNE .. All entry is CASH £4 each .. with parking in a very large field which means a long walk to the Lavender .. Disabled parking iS AVAILABLE still £4 each.. but is less of a walk .. not much Lavender but there are plenty of wild flowers ... alas this event is Lavender fields NOT Wild Flower fields ..the lunch food offered was also disappointing not a lot of choice (only saw Ploughmans / cream teas) .. There was a children's play area with inflatables and a tractor ride that required you to pay extra to ride ,..
