Clean rooms, free parking, spa facilities and pool are top notch. Would recommend for couples who want a short break. The room service is quite nice and quick, and staff are more than accommodating. The bar inside the hotel is also really clean and a great place for a drink after swimming.

The hotel was so unclean. This was a really disappointing stay. The carpets were ripped, beds were filthy and generally unclean. As for the floor in the restaurant you wouldn't let your dog eat off it!!

First time in The Village and we wont be returning.. due to timing and reasons for the visit we spent only 3hrs in the room. It was very dated and dull. we were overbooked in our usual hotel so this was our only option and very overpriced. Group of children unsupervised running in and out of room next door which I appreciate wasn't the hotels fault. Basic Housekeeping was lacking ..you could write in the dust on the bed head..2 lamps weren't working.. mirrors not cleaned.. hairs and something yukky in the sink plughole.. shower screen wasn't cleaned. I left a list with reception when I left, she was very apologetic and I was told the Manager would email me.

Stayed at the Village over the Easter weekend. Booked a Superior Room as stated had been refurbished & photos looked good. The room was outdated, worn & stained furnishings, nothing like the photos, must have been given a lick of paint at best, still had a 70's artex ceiling. The bathroom needed a serious update, the sink was blocked, mould round the shower & the 'Espa' shower gel which was a feature of the Superior Room experience had run out. Our friends also staying had booked a family room, they said the room smelled, was dirty & one of the beds hadn't been made up. I paid £95 without the £10 breakfast. Have stayed in many places where breakfast is included at this price. The value for money is very poor. The only good thing was the Starbucks & a very pleasant staff member who booked our taxi for us. Stay at the Premier inn instead, I wish we had!

Room Tip: Do not book a Superior 'upper deck' room they are a rip-off & nothing like the photos, our room was not updated

Whatever the reason of your stay here in this hotel you will have a great experience. Everything is relaxed and well presented. Great facilities the wellness spa is just amazing with a great team, the pool staff have time to chat if you wish. The rooms are roomy and have the tea and coffee which is always a bonus, hairdryer also in the room not in the bathroom. A good selection of tribute nights are available to suit all tastes which includes a three course dinner. Good night sleep followed with a super buffet breakfast hot/cold .
