We found this little gem late in the evening as we were leaving Southend-On-Sea.
I always feel guilty walking into a restaurant half an hour before closing time, but am so glad we did.
We had halloumi and humous with an amazing Turkish flat bread to start. We might have ordered extra !
The mains arrived which have been pictured:
Moussaka with Bulgar Wheat (rice).
Iskender (out of this world)
Kids diner lamb and chips.
The only way to finish this perfect meal for me was a Turkish Coffee and Baklava.
The girls had some very nice ice cream - high quality ice cream at that!
The staff were so accommodating and very child friendly.
Having had all that, our bill arrived topped with Turkish Delight and all in for less than £16 a head!
This is a destination restaurant with limited parking outside.
