The Treasure Chest is a beautiful apartment in the center of Southwold. The decor is wonderful, very stylish and comfortable and the apartment is kitted out very nicely. It is slightly on the small side, but this is not a problem if there are only two of you staying, I would not advise any more than this.
The location is fantastic, very central, just round the corner from the Lord Nelson Pub, but is still very quiet. The only issue we found with the location is the Parking situation in Southwold. As it is a free for all on the surrounding streets we had to park some distance away and drag our suitcases. There is also no outdoor space which might put some people off, but the beach is only a short walk away which more than makes up for it.
We had a bit of a discussion with the owner about what constitutes a small dog, so I would recommend getting confirmation of this before you book, as we were not allowed to bring ours.
Overall however I would highly recommend this apartment for a lovely relaxing break!

A really lovely place to stay in Southwold. Excellent location within minutes of the high street shops, pubs and the beach. Southwold has sandy beaches that seem to go on for miles and are very clean. The flat is compact and ideal for 2. Immaculate, modern and comfortable interior with thoughtful extras. We went for The Aviva Women's Tour and will definitely go again and will definitely stay at the Treasure Chest again. Perhaps hire a tandem....
