Just back from a wonderful week at this lovely little cottage. The location couldn't be better, very central but tucked away & within a stones throw of the common. The cottage is well equipped, clean & homely, our young dog loved her first holiday. Owners were also very helpful & prompt with responses. Highly recommended.

“Hidden gem in a beautiful seaside town”

My husband, 2 children, our young Labrador and I have just returned from an amazing week away at Weavers Cottage. The cottage contained everything we could need, much more than we have experienced in other holiday cottage rentals and the children enjoyed selecting different DVD's for us to watch in the evening. We had perfect weather for our weeks stay (unusual I know for a British summer) so we only ventured out of town on a couple of days as there was plenty to entertain us in Southwold. Our dog particularly enjoyed runs on the common and playing in the sea. Kerry provided a lot of local information and this enabled us to pick where it was best to go and eat out in the evening with the children and a dog. Lovely walk over the fields to the Harbour Inn for great food and local beer. The children could not believe their luck having an ice cream shop (Beaches and Cream) that stayed open until 10pm for a special treat after a meal out. We will definitely consider returning another year.

This is a wonderful review, it is so gratifying to hear that you had a great family holiday. We like to try to think of everything where possible, so it's great to know we compare favourably with the competition! Of course, sunshine always helps, but Southwold is a lovely place to be whatever time of year. Glad you made use of all the information, and of the lovely walks locally. We would love to see you all again, and thank you again for taking the time to write this review.

We had an amazing time. Definitely going back. Everything we needed with lots to see and do.
Just need to get use to places closing earlier than in Essex. Lol. But all for the good.

“Lovely Quaint Cottage Close To All Amenties”
Reviewed 9 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

We stayed in Weavers cottage in the Easter holidays, and couldn't recommend it enough, well equipped, a real home from home and situated close to the main high street of Southwold and only a short walk to the beach, what more could you ask for!

Will be back again, many thanks Kerry.

“Great little home-from-home!”
Reviewed 3 April 2016 for a stay in March 2016

My wife and I booked a last minute getaway for a couple of days. Southwold is a great place to visit with loads of great pubs and places to eat. The Adnams Brewery Tour is a must!
The cottage is really well located in a really quiet street a very short walk from the middle of town. Behind the cottage is the common and loads of parking. The cottage has the feel of a real home. It's not huge but it was more than big enough for us. It was clean and comfortable and the owner was really helpful. If you want a comfortable and perfectly located place to stay in Southwold, you'd be a fool to pay over the odds to stay 2 minutes walk down the road! If this place is available, book it!

I really like this review! How nice that it was noted Weavers Cottage 'has the feel of a real home' because this is exactly what we want Weavers and Loom Cottage to feel like! We try to think of everything guests like to have at home (within reason), so that they can enjoy the same level of comfort when on holiday. These lovely people have done a great job of promoting our services, and if I could award them a rating it would be 5 stars too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you....we are so pleased you both enjoyed yourselves.
