“Warm, cosy family cottage”
Reviewed 6 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

We spent the first week of the Easter holidays in Loom Cottage. Communication from the owner before the holiday was very helpful and useful, on arrival we found a clean, well equipped cottage with so many DVD's. The cottage had everything you would need for a family holiday.
The location next to the common and a short walk to the beach and town was perfect for us all, including our dog.
The cottage was warm and cosy , perfect for a relaxing week by the sea.

“Excellent stay in fabulous cottage”
Reviewed 21 February 2015 for a stay in February 2015

Having returned yesterday from our stay in Loom Cottage in Southwold I felt I have to write a review to say how great it was.
Everything we needed was on hand in the cottage.
We travelled with 2 children aged 11 and 14 and 2 dogs.
The dogs were allowed inside, downstairs but are outside dogs so slept in the garage which was lovely and snug for them.
The cottage was very nicely furnished, the beds were comfy and the cottage very warm.
Being close to the town and sea was great for us and we didn't use the car at all whilst there.
I'd like to thank Kerry for being on hand to help if needed. Nothing was too much trouble.
We will be returning to this lovely cottage.

Thank you so much Lynda, much appreciated! It's great that your party (including pooches) enjoyed your stay and had lots of walks, trips to the beach (in February?)during your stay. It was fortunate that you had some good weather, and I'm so glad you found the cottage warm and cosy.
Perfect review from perfect guests! We would love you to come again!

“Delightful cosy cottage”
Reviewed 11 February 2015 for a stay in February 2015

We chose Loom Cottage for a long weekend in Southwold. It worked out almost half the price of b&b and you get the whole place. Very well equipped and comfortable. Centrally located with all ameneties and attractions within walking distance. Kerry provided us with lots of information about the area and places to go. We went to Coasters restaurant (excellent), adnams brewery tour and down the pier and could relax in our own place for the weekend. Would definitely visit Loom Cottage again.

Thank you so much Mark, I really appreciate this review. I'm so glad you made use of the list I sent you (sometimes I wonder if people feel a bit overloaded with all the information) and that you visited The Pier (what fun it is) and went on The Brewery Tour. I'd recommend that to everybody (over 18) because not only is it interesting but you get to do lots of tasting! I'm also really glad that you enjoyed 'Coasters' and the rest of the weekend as well. All in all (to use your words)this is a delightful review! Please do come and visit us again..

I would like to thank this wonderful guest for this lovely review, it manages to say a great deal whilst being very economical with words. It's great that this answers most of the questions guests ask; how far is the beach/town centre etc? Southwold is such a great place to visit because it has an year round appeal, although quieter out of season it is always full of life! In fact, many people prefer these times of year. Loom Cottage always provides a cosy base to explore from!!!

This cottage is in a perfect spot, very quiet side street right next to the common, with the shops and beach only a few minutes walk away. The cottage is very clean, warm and well equipped, including nice details like wi-fi, toiletries and up-to-date DVDs. The owner sent us lots of useful information on the cottage and local area before we arrived, another nice touch. We would be more than happy to stay here again.

I love it when our guests feel at home, hence up to date DVDs and a good selection of books! Thank you for these kind words, and for being such lovely guests.
