Helpful staff and food that is brought to your seat before the film begins. There are 2 cinema screens and at times special productions (e.g Shakespearean plays, ballets etc.) are shown as well.
For those that like a gamble there is Bingo and some slot machines (adults only area.)

Very much the cinema your parents used to go to. The seating is basic and not very comfortable. Prices are the same as you would pay in a modern multiplex so not good value for money. Although I think they do discounts for members!
The lady behind counter wasn't the friendliest of people.

I was surprised that such cinema still exists in times of chain theatres.
The place has a character. It's very well maintained and looks great. It boosts the experience of a cinema visit. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome.
The tickets are without allocation and they are being sold 30 min before a film, you cannot book a ticket in advance.
Prices are low which is another plus.
Definitely want to come back.

If you need help you can contact the manageress if you can drag her away from her permanent fag break.

Fantastic cinema, live local, great value for money & can sit with a cuppa or a glass of wine/food....delivered to your seat- how many cinema's provide that sort of service? ! Haven't driven to Ipswich for a good 7 years now, no need to go further afield with such a great cinema on your doorstep! Staff welcoming & provide a personal service when you arrive,to when you leave. Love it!
