“Wonderfully cited; perfectly appointed and sublimely relaxing.”
Reviewed 2 November 2016 for a stay in October 2016

This cottage is absolutely wonderful. We have been twice now, at Easter and in October. The salt-marshes are literally a 2 minute stroll away and the pub and shop withing 10.
The cottage is well furnished, warm and clean and it gives a delightful "home away from home" feeling. We have stayed with people from 6 to 76 and everyone has loved the layout, ideal with 4 one one floor and 4 on the other and shower room and bath room as well. The sounds of the sea birds and the rush of the sea are fabulous to go to sleep and wake up to. Do give this place a try as it is the ideal venue to slow down and kick back.

Mulberry Cottage, Stiffkey has to be one of the best rental homes we have ever stayed in. Extremely well appointed, clean, safe for young children and dogs. We had a fab holiday and have since recommended to friends. One small detail, no landline for an emergency should it arise. Mobile networks poor and no broadband / Wi-Fi. Our careless children unfortunately spoilt a duvet cover with a leaky felt tip pen. However, talking to Patrick to let him know, we did come to a mutually amicable agreement and a cheque for £50. was left for him on our departure to go part way towards a replacement. We are this year staying in the sister cottage as Mulberry was not available but we are looking forward to it and all pens in any shape or form will not be moving away from the kitchen table.

“Wonderful, relaxing stay”

My husband and I recently stayed at Mulberry Cottage as part of a group of friends with teenage children and it was perfect for us all. This lovely, spacious and well equipped cottage is excellently situated for walks across the marshes (bring wellies as it can be muddy!) and strolls to the local pub in the village. Two of the bedrooms and one of the bathrooms are downstairs which would also make it ideal for those who find stairs difficult to manage, There is a beautiful, lawned garden at the back, where we sat out to eat our breakfast on sunny mornings and a veranda at the front of the cottage where we sat out on an evening enjoying the peace and tranquility of the area with a glass of wine. The popular town of Holt is within easy driving distance and has an array of good shops, cafes and restaurants to choose from and is worth a visit.
If you want a relaxing 'get away from it all' break in North Norfolk then Mulberry Cottage is definitely the place to go....we shall be returning next year!!

“The place is amazing”
Reviewed 7 November 2013 for a stay in September 2013

When we first arrived at Mulberry cottage for a short stay at the weekend we were all very taken aback at the wonderful sights surrounding the cottage. With open fields and a very short distant walk to the salt marsh we gladly strolled a good few hours over the quiet footpaths which was excellent for our dog and who loved chasing the birds with no luck! The cottage is fully equipped with everything you would need along with a warm, friendly character inside.

“What a great place”
Reviewed 22 October 2013 for a stay in October 2013

I took my mother to stay at Mulberry Cottage for a short break and I will be back. My mother cannot climb stairs, so having a bathroom and bedroom down stairs was perfect, there is a further bedroom downstairs and two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs.
There are plenty of pub restaurants nearby including one in the village. We took a drive to Holt one day where we browsed the many fabulous shops and stopped for a lovely lunch in Byfords.
Although my mother could not walk too far she managed to get to the salt marsh and we ambled along the coastal path, I can imagine how lovely it must be in the summer. There were a lot of walkers and I must take my dog next time.
The house was very clean and tastefully decorated.
