This lovely family and dog friendly pub is well worth a visit. Delicious food and friendly service and doggy biscuits on the bar for our four legged friends.

We had a very pleasant meal here although I will say that even though we clearly got homemade food using quality produce I feel it was still slightly overpriced. The place was bustling though and we thoroughly enjoyed what we had. The homemade chocolates with the bill a nice touch. The sad thing is the place has lost its bar trade which I like to see in a village pub.

I visited the the white horse on a Saturday lunchtime. The team were very welcoming and the internal looked good. The menu had a good choice for everyone and all dishes reasonably priced. We had fish and chips, steak and ale pie and the ham egg and chips. All was well presented and more importantly really good. The deserts were very nice too, with a good range of ales and lagers along with some GF choices. Aaron who served us was attentive but not overly so and very polite. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be visiting again.

Been wanting to visit here for some time but unfortunately is not local to us but finally managed to go for a family birthday lunch. Wow, was worth the wait. Both food & service was excellent. Shame we couldn’t fit in a dessert. Will def visit again

Great food, excellent service and a table by the wood burner on a cold day. Friendly and cosy. Would definitely return.
