Extremely dirty awful hotel. Hair on the pillows and comforter. Dirty linens on floor. Greasy dirty dressers and Windows. Advertised free breakfast, nothing at all. Screws holding bathroom counters together. Rivets all over elevator to hold it together. Truly disgusting! People in parking lot begging for cigarettes. Like the title says stay clear.

I have stayed here several times over the last 15 years. It is a convenient distance from the AGORA theater. It now has new management and they are a definite improvement. I just hope the prices do not increase too much. I have reservations for NEWS YEARS EVE & can't wait to see these guys again. 100 thumbs up. The second photo is from the AGORA. Thank you Sarah.

It's an OLD hotel and in desperate need of renovation and basic repairs. Think of it as visiting your elderly great uncle. He's doing his very best to keep it clean, but just not able to keep up with the upkeep of the place. Kind of patching and piecing it together. The staff were very nice to us, but we did notice a woman who did not speak English trying to communicate a problem with her room. An older employee at the desk finally shouted at her that she would have to tell the manager Peter in the morning and that they were done discussing it and called the next customer waiting.

It served its purpose. We had a roof to sleep under and we didn't catch anything and no one killed us. Oh, and no one messed with our car.

We walked 2.5 miles to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame so be aware this is not downtown. There is a bus stop right outside, but this is not the free trolley.

Their breakfast is pastries and coffee. It is not continental. It's at 6 is what the front desk told us. We never went down to get it.

So it's the cheapest choice we saw, and it served its purpose. I'm satisfied.

Went to Cleveland for a Yankee game last week. We were late booking a hotel and everything downtown was booked except for the University Hotel & Suites, so we grabbed a few rooms. Its in dire need of updating (has A/C but not central air, bathrooms are shaky, and the room had coffee..but no coffee maker!), but if you aren't picky, it will do. The highlight is the bar/restaurant, which is open til 3am.

Good bargain hotel...staff very friendly. Not well kept at all but room was clean. Do not assume breakfast is included as it states in ads...we had a pastry and coffee. Restaurant bar has good prices...good food, pizza was good. Transit out front.
A,little far away from the action but ok for sleeping, quiet. University closed so not many people around. Had to travel for breakfast.
