My husband and I travelled with his parents visiting places on the Eyre Peninsula. The customer service given by Annie at Longbeach Apartments was outstanding. We only stayed in Coffin Bay one night and unfortunately the weather was awful, however we had an upstairs unit overlooking the ocean which was lovely. The units have everything required in a self contained apartment and the beds are comfy. Our bathroom was renovated, was large and included a washing machine. There is a games room in the complex which would be great for kids or anyone wanting a game of eight ball. The units aren't within walking distance to any shops or hotel but are within walking distance to the beach and lovely walks along the beach front. We drove to the Coffin Bay hotel (about 1/2km away) and had a lovely lunch. Unfortunately the hotel is in an odd location in amongst the bushland. We went to the Yacht/Sailing Club for dinner and had a great meal - highly recommended!

Room tip: If stairs aren't a problem for you, ask for a unit that is upstairs overlooking the ocean.

Had an absolute ball staying here. Hard to get used to only being two minutes from everything. Only fifteen minute walk from the pub ~ great meals. Walking distance to everything. Make sure you do the oyster tour and tasting.

Room tip: Upstairs room.

This was our second time staying at LongBeach apartments and we could not fault it once again, we had one of the second floor apartments and our elderly parents had a ground floor one. The facilities here are awesome with a games room, great BBQ area, kids sand pit and play area and of course a place to park and rinse your boat and clean your fish. The apartments are clean, modern and close to all facilities that Coffin Bay has to offer as well as being very affordable, you'd be mad to stay anywhere else, we will definitely be back.

Went there for my girlfriends birthday and had a great time. Pete and annie told us all the secret places to go and were very helpful. Had a beer and a bbq in the common area with them. Rooms were very well set out with 1 large and 2 singles. Beautiful views and lovely people headed back for a longer time for sure

Stayed at LongBeach Apartments for 14 days over the Xmas period 22nd Dec to 5 Jan 2013.
The units are situated a few houses from the esplanade with a beach at the end of the road. We rented 2 apartments as we had our elderly parents with us although there was plenty of room for us to have stayed all together but for the price per night it was affordable to have one each. There are 5 apartments in all, 2 upstairs and 3 downstairs, we had the upstairs ones with sea views. The apartments are extremely well equipped, 2 bedrooms with one queen and either 2 or 3 singles, recently renovated kitchens, bathrooms/laundry with new appliances. The premises held an outstanding BBQ area, two very clean and functional BBQ's, outdoor eating under shade and a games room with pool table, darts, books, big flat screen TV ,board games etc to use. A small child's sandpit with a slide and toys next to the lawn and BBQ areas made it easy for the families with small kids to relax and have a drink. We brought our boat with us and there was ample parking for both the car and boat, the apartments are close to the boat ramp (at the other end of the road) and there was a boat washing area and a fish cleaning area provided at the apartments.
The owners Annie and Pete were really helpful with information about what to do in Coffin Bay and we even got some good fishing spots for Whiting from them. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return again next year if we can, we recommend the apartments for couples, families and groups.

Room tip: Downstairs apartments for families with small kids as they lead into the garden area, upstairs for sea views.
