The worst place we’ve ever stayed at by a long shot.

We weee unfortunate enough to have two rooms here . Everything else in Winton was booked .

Filthy and falling apart. The noise from the pub was insane and the rooms didn’t lock properly.

Balustrade missing rails. Literally falling apart. It should be condemned. Fire alarms hanging out of the walls and disconnected.

Room tip: Don’t stay here . Try the Gregory across the road . Clean and safe.

My wife and I went for a shared lunch. Burger and chips. No problem. Great light lunch.
We met Joe the publican and his passion was evident. I specially requested he chilled a wine of of choice and we’ll be back for our evening meal with the family.
We went back that night with our kids. Lasagne was a hit with my wife and kids. It was amazing. I went the rib fillet. Perfectly cooked medium rare. Mushroom sauce was heavenly. An array of veges were freshly wok fried. So fresh, so nice. Chef is vibrant and new. A steak I’ll not forget.
P.S. the Church Block was ready and chilled as requested.
Thanks Joe. Fantastic

What a nice feel to walk in and be greeted immediately by friendly and genuine people. An older couple, presumably perhaps the publicans, but if they are just staff members, absolute gold. No bells and whistle‘s, just really lovely down to earth people. Great service, good menu choice, tremendous food. Nice feel. Really nice to see the defense forces represented in the memorabilia on the walls.

Room tip: I have more on their menu than appears on their website
