We stopped here for lunch while on a little getaway. The coffee was absolutely beautiful! We ordered two wood fired pizzas! They were made fresh and they were really delicious. The prices were reasonable and the service was great. We would definitely return to this little gem while traveling through Ravenshoe!

We took a break in our drive from Cairns to Undara, looking for lunch. Found this amazing cafe which was offering wood fired pizza and good coffee in a unique old style cafe. Service was friendly and prompt and their sound track was fun. And the pizza was VERY good.

Called into what looked like a nice little cafe for brunch yesterday. Place wasn’t busy so we thought we’d be in and out pretty quickly.
I ordered a cheese, ham & tomato toasted sandwich with a cappuccino and my wife chose their raisin toast with a milkshake.
We sat down and waited - and waited - and waited……. People after us were served so we asked where ours was, only to be told “ won’t be long”
So 20 minutes after ordering my wife gets this slab of cold raisin toast and 2 little frozen butter packs while I get a wafer thin partly toasted sandwich containing the thinnest slice of ham possible, a (plastic) cheese slice and a little tomato.
My wife sent the raisin toast back and 5 minutes later was given a new slab - partly toasted one side and burnt on the other.
It seemed to me that the two ladies behind the counter really had no idea what they were doing…. Hate to see what it’s like if they’re busy!!
Al in all a pretty awful experience

We had a lovely brunch at the Popular Cafe in Ravenshoe - beautiful toasted ciabattas. We ate in the outdoor area as we had our dog with us. He was spoilt as the cafe made him scrambled eggs (with lactose free milk) and ham as a breakfast treat.

Called in for coffee and cake and found the people very friendly. The coffee was good and the carrot cake fresh and tasty. Like its name says it is a Popular place.
