We were looking for a clean affordable place to stay to visit locations on the coadt. This place was perfect , the old bloke at the desk was very freindly and the motel was well soundproofed compared to many others I have been in. We also loved the town with one of the best bookstores in Australia and the many many op shops. The towns folk seem ravaged by ice and heroine but hey , thats rural 'straya all over. Very pleasant stay and would definitely stay here again.
Recent visit through busy holiday season - helpful relief Manager, clean room and good location - pool on a hot day was welcome also, but room need attention with carpet and paint, also allocated car park was not available on arrival - parking awkward. Bonus - lots of tea bags and milk in fridge.
The may be no frills to this accommodation but it was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and there are cafes within walking distance for breakfast. If you want value for money this is the place to stay!
Although the motel is showing its age, the rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. The facilities including Flat screen TV, fridge, small bathroom and airconditioner were satisfactory for the rates charges.
The staff were helpful and obliging.

I was there for four nights, they put a microwave in my room, opened the door for me on arrival, explained the heater/air and TV.
Even the cat was friendly.
The hotel is central to everything in the area, good base for working in the area.
Only negative is that it is hard to spot on the main Rd.
