Nice tucked away sanctuary, filled with the friendliest kangaroos, crocs, birds, emu's, quolls, snakes, lizards, cassowary. the staff hand you a small bag to feed the kangaroos which is amazing. very natural and it feels like being in the wild. definitely a must

This was an excellent park and one of the highlights of our visit to North Queensland. Great interaction with the animals, an excellent variety, and obvious attention and care for the animals.

We spent a lot of time talking to Trish, who was both very friendly and knowledgable.

This park is definitely worth a couple of hours during your visit.

Couldn't agree with the above poster more. I live in Far North Queensland and have been to all the wildlife parks, this one surpasses them all.

One of Australia's best collection of native parrots and finches; crocodiles, sugar gliders, emus, kangaroos, cassowaries, quolls, bettongs, dingos and more. Here you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner with the birds at the onsite restaurant or better still overnight in the on-site comfortable accommodation.

Daintree Mangroves Wildlife Sanctuary is locally owned by the Talbot family and is truly a wildlife photographer's dream come true.

The highlight of our trip to Australia was a visit to the Daintree Mangroves Wildlife Sanctuary. The animals were all very accessable and the staff was very helpful. My daughter got to feed the Cassowary and a joey. The grounds are lovely and it is obvious the owners care very much for their animals. It was a rare treat. Can't recommend it highly enough.
