Absolutely beautiful, lush gardens. Multiple ponds and small waterfalls. Narrow hidden, grassy paths (not the best access for differently abled or wheelchair users - fair warning), stepping stones over water, flowers everywhere. A real boat on a pond the kids loved climbing through, pretending to be pirates. Heaps of tables and seating at plenty of shady gazebos for pre packed lunches, with serene views. The staff were all so pleasant it was *almost* sickening (I kid of course), jut lovely people. The birds and bird aviary tour were excellent value, more than enough birds to go around, plenty of interaction to be had. You won’t get an up close and personal experience with animals like that for cheaper, that’s for sure. And I was much happier knowing that they were all either born in captivity or injured and unable to be released into the wild. So glad we finally got around to it. We will be back.
