Friends and myself went for a light lunch and listen to the band that was playing. This place has great views great service and most of all great food. If you are ever staying in Kingaroy i can highly recommend this place.

This place was perfect place to getaway from every day life. From the peaceful surrounds to the crackling of the fire place, this place surely did the job of relaxing and unwinding. The spa topped it off and the hosts were friendly and helpful.

We spent Monday and Tuesday night of this week in Banksia. Would have taken the three day mid-week special except had to get back for a father/daughter State of Origin night. The view from the verandah is superb, so much so that after a few hours vineyard, food and art gallery exploring my husband just wanted to go and sit on the verandah with a glass of wine and the crossword. Lots of little nooks scattered around the property to take your drink and just take in more views. Make sure, however, you venture off the verandah on a clear night. With no artificial light pollution the stars above are incredibly bright, and feel so close you could reach up and touch them. The wood burner kept us very warm at night inside the cabin and the kitchen facilities are excellent. A 3/4 size fridge as well so you can bring your own bits'n'bobs. Loved meeting the resident miniature cattle and the family dog. Great hosts, wonderful setting, need a re-charge? Book now.

What a wonderful location. We stayed for the weekend in the Grevillea cabin. Very comfortable and very tastefully decorated.
Our hosts lindsay & Rhonda made us feel very welcome and could not do enough for us. We both had a massage by Rhonda which was lovely and relaxing.
We had brunch on Sunday at the cafe and the home cooked food was delicious.
I would definitely stay again.

We didn't stay there, however we attended a wedding there. The venue, hosts and food was fabulous. The garden setting is lovely and the evening views were spectacular too - especially the electrical storm over Brisbane. The atmosphere was fab, very relaxed and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for the hosts. The only downside was the lack of AC, just wide open windows which was lovely but still hot!

Thankyou for this review, Lindsay & I are very passionate about our business here & we like to take on board your feedback so that we can look at improving what we offer here. We love to achieve at a high standard for all of our guests, being those that stay in our accommodation or it be those who have a function here. With the Function area being an outdoor area we aren't always in control of what the weather sends us. We are able to open & close this venue area though, to allow breezes to come through. We have looked at putting fans in & the low level of height in the ceilings do not allow for this. Mind you, being able to lift those fantastic zipscreens makes a huge difference plus there are plenty of outside area's to go to if the heat gets too much inside. Here in the South Burnett it does get hot & cold. We are fortunate to have true seasons & we love this. Once again.. thankyou for your feedback. We can use this to better our facility.
