We spent a single night at Daintree Valley Haven in August and wished we had spent more time there. Surrounded by lush vegetation and visited by countless birds, butterflies and bandicoots we almost expected a visit from David Attenborough as well. This is a lovely place to spend some quiet time amongst the nature of the Daintree. Take a hike around the property and take your camera with you - it is stunning! Peter and Daphne are wonderful, friendly and interesting hosts and the bungalow was comfortable, clean and well kitted out.

I would definitely stay here again - my only regret is that we only had one night! Such a cosy, comfortable little cabin and the owners, Peter & Daphne, couldn't be more welcoming. The B&B itself is a short drive from the Daintree Valley and couldn't be in a lovelier, more relaxing spot. If you're looking for a rainforest escape from the hustle and bustle, I highly recommend! Particularly enjoyed the big, bright blue butterflies and waking up to kookaburras and a tasty homemade breakfast in the morning.
