I have a gripe with Cooroy Country Cottages...in this day and age of thick, white, fluffy Egyptian cotton bath sheets, their towels are just way too small, even if they are extremely absorbent. Apart from that, Cooroy Country Cottages are ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!
My partner and I needed pet-friendly accommodation for a weekend away near Cooroy and Cooroy Country Cottages fit the bill perfectly! Highlights included:
* $195 per night (2 night minimum) for the Federation cottage, which sleeps 4 but that I think is excellent value even if like us there are only 2 of you staying
* Cottage is exceptionally clean, well-maintained and furnished quaintly with beautiful old antiques and lots of plush soft furnishings
* Has everything you would possibly need, from the wind up torch and towels for drying wet dogs, to the air con for chilly nights and selection of DVDs
* Great if travelling with your dog - which we were - because house trained dogs are allowed inside while you're there, and although the cottage isn't fenced it does have a fenced verandah all around the cottage where you can keep your dog if you need to go out without them. Dog sitting is also available on-site if you'd prefer.
* Situated on 97 acres - some landscaped gardens, some unimproved acreage - with a creek running through the middle and our dog had an absolute ball exploring the property and endlessly retrieving sticks from the creek. He was exhausted but couldn't wait to go back for more the next day!
* If you're very lucky you might run into Jim and Rooby, his giant Schnauzer, on their afternoon walk and have the pleasure of chatting to Jim and hearing about his experiences with the property. The property is truly a credit to him and his business partner, Paul, who experienced many trials and tribulations while establishing it - thank goodness they persisted!
Anyway, don't just take my word for it, check it out for yourself. I've heard it's even more beautiful in Spring when many of the trees and plants begin to flower...but don't forget to pack your bath sheets :)

Room Tip: This applies to the Federation cottage - if you'd like a sleep in but you're sensitive to th...

Cooroy Country Cottages is situated in a very picturesque part of Queensland not far from the beautiful beaches of Noosa and the Sunshine Coast. The cottage that we stayed in (Federation) left nothing to want it was beautifully furnished and very comfortable and offered an exceptional combination of elegance and style with views from windows that were absolutly stunning. There was also a swimming pool that was great to relax in and gave great picture opportunitities as the sun went down (pictures attached). The cottage we stayed in consisted of 2 luxury rooms with a great kitchen and fully equiped laundry which as a traveling family with two children under the age of four we found to be great. We also found the hosts Jim and Paul to very informative and helpful when it came to places to go and see but if that is not your thing then just stay around the cottage and relax or take a walk around the beautiful property.

I have been to Cooroy Country Cottages twice I am about to go back again. I work for a organisation that assist people with a disability to access the commnity and I have stayed in quite a few motels, houses that are surpose to be wheel chair friendly.
Cooroy Country Cottages, Cooroora cottage has to be the best so far. It has a large bathroom laundry with plenty room for a hoist. It has a nice out side BBQ/entainment area greate for just sitting and watching nature.
I would highley recomend Cooroy Country Cottages to anyone who would like a quiet peaceful holiday, close enough to the Sunshine Coast yet far enough away with plenty to see and do

A magical place for dogs - and their humans. Bright sunny cottages with glorious views in a warm peaceful setting. Space to walk and explore the property, yet conveniently close to Noosa and its tourist facilities. Jim and Paul are ideal hosts and each cottage has its own theme and decor.
We have been regulars for over ten years and just keep returning for more peace and relaxation.

Room Tip: All are peaceful with great views. Suggest trying all of them!

My husband and I and our two toy poodles stayed for 8 days in the Australian Cottage and what a magical experience it was. We could have stayed there forever. The cottage was exceptional in presentation, clean, furnished beautifully. Everything you could wish for was provided. For our dogs Alfie and Elly, it was their first holiday and Paul and Jim made us all very welcome. The cottages are located in an excellent spot for venturing to other parts of the hinterland. Within easy reach are the botanical gardens, (which you are allowed to bring your dog on a leash) and Noosa and the famous Emundi market. The township of Cooroy is very picturesque and friendly.
There is so mush to explore on the property that you don't really need to go anywhere else. Loved the horses on the property and the beautiful places to walk. Could not ask for anything more perfect. Truly paradise.
