Cooktown is a sleepy but pretty little town. This hotel has a great location and most rooms seem to offer a good view of the river. The accommodation is a little dated and basic but it's clean and comfortable.

If you want a great river view from every room well this is the place to stay. It overlooks the picturesque Endeavour River. The Seaview Motel offers a wide range of accommodation from Budget, Deluxe & Superior. It's right in the main street and a short stroll to RSL Club, Bowls Club, restaurants, cafes and shops. Cooktown has many attractions to visit including a fabulous museum. Worth a look!!!

Room Tip: Superior Room overlooking the river

Fantastic views and fantastic spot. Right in the thick of it.
Great Aircon and Wifi.
We had a family of 5 and couldn't book the accommodation below so had to pay extra to upgrade. The motel took 10% off which was very good of them.
The room was amazing with great views two rooms and fully self contained.
BBQ x 2 onsite and a great pool to cool off. 2 x TV.
We will definitely stay here again next time we're up this way.

Room Tip: Pay for the best

Central location. Great waterfront views and could be improved if shrubs trimmed. Large self contained rooms with noisy aircons and wobbling noisy fans. Rooms not worth the price we paid. Requires maintenance. Spiders on room ceiling corners and shower tiles were mouldy. Lots of huge mosquitos on the front porch so couldn't leave the bedroom door open. Coils were provided outside but nothing to light it with.

Room Tip: Waterfront scenic views
