We found it by accident, picked up a brochure in Yungaburra but had one of the best wildlife experiences ever. The guide was knowledgable and friendly - we came away knowing enormous amounts and with a great respect for these much maligned creatures. Thank you for being in the world.

Despite all the negativity about " Flying Foxes" this is a professionally run hospital caring for sick and orphaned Bats and Flying Foxes. They get no government support and do everything thanks to the generosity of the public. Well worth the effort to visit and if you are keen worth some of your hard earned dollars. Micro and Macro Bats.

Thanks you very much for the call to donate, it's the beginning of our orphan season and we will ned the funds. last year between October and December we had over 400 orphans come into care as a result of Tick paralysis affecting the mother.

This wonderful facility was recommended to us during the bat talk in Cairns on a Friday evening. It's a unique experience to get up close to these wonderful animals and learn about their lives and the threats they face in the wild. The kids loved it.

We do a lot of school talks as well as having kids here at the Visitor Centre. I don't think we've ever had a child resist the appeal of the bats up close and personal.
