Dropped in for lunch while touring the Atherton table lands. Was a little apprehensive as we had absolutely no idea of what the fare would be like.
We were however assured by the restaurant manager that the food would be very good as their chef had won many awards. Later was told that his Indian food preparations too were excellent, but due to the adjoining Indian restaurant, he did not cook it so as to keep their friendship.
We ordered a lamb cutlet which was served with fries and salad. Also a fried rice. The portions were so much that we (2 of us) could only eat the lamb cutlet and had to do a take away of the fried rice (which we had later for dinner). The food justified the recommendation.
It's quite a heritage place as the medals on the walls show. Well worth a visit. If ever, we visit this area again, shall definitely stop over for another meal.More
