Description: Our focus is on local produce, we know all the farmers directly; we focus on ethical and buying whole animals direct from the source. We employ a full time butcher who looks after all of our meat, including curing and ageing, for both our restaurant and our newly renovated pub (located in Creswick 15 mins from Daylesford). We have several kitchen gardens and grow a lot of our own produce. Our award winning executive chef, Hugh Maxwell and his team create some of the most incredible contemporary dishes, sure to wow your senses. Our French restaurant manager and his talented team will ensure the best fine dining experience. We aim to be your ultimate dining experience, one that you cannot forget. There is a separate wine bar and courtyard for pre-dinner drinks and happy hour 4pm-6pm daily, half price oysters and cocktails.

Very Nice Food. Unfortunately they do not have conventional beer ie Carlton Draught products
It was very very hot outside 42 degrees, and they did not have any air conditioning, so very hot inside. Nice food though

This quirky restaurant has a funky charm with a retro feel. The staff are knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their product and are happy to accommodate a shared meal. The menu featured local produce and it was great to see that all vegetables used were fresh. The wines by the glass featured local vineyards and were a very generous serve. Some unusual beers and cocktails also featured. We had the shared duck platter, which at $65.00 was a great dish for two. The flavours were complex but complimentary to the duck which was moist and succulent. My partner had the brownie for dessert and declared it was the best she had ever tasted.

Food excellent. Perhaps more focus on simplicity with clean flavours as well as the complex culinary delights on offer - wine choices limited and pricey.

Stopped in for happy hour. Enjoyed $5 wines and olives, a nice prelude to dinner. Good atmosphere and service.

We could share platters and try dishes that we may not have ordered otherwise. Gorgeous modern menu. The pumpkin fritters and lamb chops were a winner. The cocktail I had was fantastic. Highly recommended
