The first thing that struck us was the amount of living space. This place can comfortably accommodate 6 people in terms of beds and sofa space. It was clean, tidy and well equipped. The rear garden was also a good place to sit out - our girls liked playing out there.
The house was just around the corner from Dalegate Market where there are a few shops aimed at tourists, as well as a Nisa convenience store and a café (nice environment but a touch on the pricey side). The White Horse pub, and the Norfolk Coastal Path to the rear of the pub, were also within a short walk. The Jolly Sailor was also only half a mile along the main road (which we heard no traffic noise from). The Jolly Sailor was very busy on a Sunday night but the service was efficient.
We used the house as base for Pensthorpe Natural Park, Sandringham, RSPN Titchwell, Wells Beach and our favourite days: Bircham Windmill and Temples Seal Trips to Blakeney Point.
The only drawback was my wife's allergy to the feather duvet but otherwise a very comfortable place.
