A delightfully bijou and compact cottage overlooking the beautiful river Bradford set above one of the most picturesque valley walks in Derbyshire. Nicely decorated and well equipped the accommodation provides almost everything you would need for a child-free short comfortable stay in this lovely part of the country. Blessed with a pleasant garden for a drink before dinner or even alfresco dining if you are lucky enough, like us, to have warm sunshine. If more typical Derbyshire weather then the log burner is a delightful compensation.
Three local pubs, a deli, bakery and post office in the village provide for most immediate needs. However, be prepared for a precipitous walk from the nearest car parking on the High street to the cottage. Not for the unfit, faint-hearted or the heavily laden.More
