“Lovely peaceful cottage”
Reviewed 11 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

We were delighted with the cottage and with the area. Never having been in Derbyshire we found many delightful walks not far from Youlgrave.

The views from the cottage and from the cottage garden area wonderful and we will definitely be back.

“A lovely weekend in a stunning location.”
Reviewed 21 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

We've just returned from a lovely weekend in a stunning location. Overdale cottage is in a spectacular location in the village of Youlgreave with glorious walks and beautiful scenery on your doorstep.
The cottage itself was well presented with nothing left to chance, with the owners Phillip and Susan only to willing to ensure we had an enjoyable stay.

“Perfection!!!!”
Reviewed 14 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Spent a wonderful 3nights in the cottage with our 2 dogs. The location was spectacular, lots of fab walks, great village location. We thoroughly enjoyed a night in the farmyard inn, lovely people, amazing fire!!
The cottage was perfect for us, homely, warm with outstanding scenery! Amazing views from the rooftop terrace where we enjoyed a few glasses of wine and also observed a beautiful clear night sky with sparkling stars! We very much look forward to returning to this peaceful village and this fantastic cottage. Thank you luv the Normans x

“Fantastic Cottage in a great location”
Reviewed 12 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

This the second time we have stayed in this cottage in the last couple of years. We highly recommend it and will be back again in the future. The views from the roof terrace are amazing. There are great walks of varying lengths from the doorstep. It is a short drive away from Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and the surrounding towns/villages. A great base for exploring this part of Derbyshire and a credit to the owners. A real 'gem'
