i have stayed at the croft a couple of times with friends in the winter months and with my 16 year old daughter last summer. in the winter it is the perfect place for some R & R. light the wood burner and the candles, settle down with a nice glass of something and select from one of the many DVD's provided or settle down with a good book. the kitchen is very well stocked and the whole cottage is cosy and comfortable. my favourite bit would be the extra deep free standing bath.
in the summer my daughter and i were very lucky to have gorgeous sunny weather. we barely left the garden. it is small but perfectly formed and the views are stunning.
there are lots of places nearby to visit - my favourite is Bakewell. Chatsworth is close and not to be missed and there are amazing country walks for year round enjoyment.
you can probably gather i love this place and can't rate it highly enough
