Passed here whilst thinking about what my hubby and myself fancied for lunch, cafe looked very busy and there was a notice on the door they were full so call back in a while,we decided to look around the shop next door then went to have another look, our luck was in as the notice was just coming off the door so in we went and quickly got shown to a table, surroundings were very nice, nice pictures on the wall and very comfortable chairs to sit on.after studying the extensive menu for a while we noticed you ordered the food at the counter which we did ,I ordered a jacket potato with cheese and beans and my hubby ordered welsh Rarebit with pineapple, both were absolutely delicious and came very quickly,we finished off with the most delicious homemade ginger pudding with custard, was the best I have ever tasted ,we are so pleased we found this eaterie and if you are in the area you must give it a go.

Left Sheffield 13yrs ago & settled in Adelaide South Australia. First trip back. Got in bus early one morning to visit Castleton. We were starving. Called in to this place for a cooked breakfast. We were not dissapointed. Absolutely fantastic. Left the place with full tummies. Best breakfast during our 2 week trip to Sheffield. Thankyou.

After exploring Castleton we found this restaurant by chance and stopped for a late lunch.
I would recommend this establishment to anyone. The lunch was delicious and the portions very generous. My group all loved the food and atmosphere.
The restaurant is set over two floors and is set in a delightful cottage. The decor and furniture is perfect for the setting.
We were seated upstairs in a quaint little room. The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more attentive. The food arrived in reasonable time and the whole place was very clean. The toilet was immaculate.
