A nice short MTB ride along a good quality track from Bamford but ideal to continue on for more challenging stuff.

This is a beautiful part of Derbyshire, great for walking, watching the wildlife and enjoying the hills around. Don't forget to go up to the dam.

Visited Ladybower Reservoir and sink holes. An amazing spectacle to see and wonderful scenery. After seeing this, I recommend a drive to Derwent Reservoir and Dam, stopping at Fairholmes Visitor Centre for more amazing views and wonderful scenery. At the time we visited, we had not long had snow, which gave it an extra special feeling. Great location, super facilities if you want a 'stop off' place to have a cup of tea or something to eat. Highly recommend a visit to this whole area. See the power of nature and how beautiful it can be.

If you are around, don't hesitate to go there. Very calm place where you can just chill out, walk and admire the nature

Out for a morning drive while on holiday and a nice surprise to find the reservoirs. The dam is quite something and the whole area is well worth a visit.
