“Lovely well equipped house!”
Reviewed 29 October 2014 for a stay in October 2014

I stayed with my family for a long weekend at croft house barn. It is a very well equipped house with everything you could want and more! The accommodation is lovely with a home from home feel. Great showers in all 3 bathrooms.
I will be recommending to friends and family.

“Excellent in every department,”
Reviewed 8 May 2014 for a stay in May 2014

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay to celebrate my 60th birthday, property , location and hospitality from owners next door were all excellent. The welcome pack was a delightful little touch. Having the Red Lion just down the lane was also a big plus as it meant I could sit back and enjoy my birthday and not have to cook.

“Peaceful”

A lovely large spacious cottage. Top of the range amenities and an excellent welcome pack.
The shower was perfect and bed wonderful. A large television which is a rarity in most properties. We came to rest for a few days having left at home a busy farm, B&B and tea room.
We fully recommend you to come and stay here, you will not be disappointed.

A beautiful cottage in excellent location to explore the Peak District. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners Steph and Malcolm who leave a great welcome hamper and a warm, cosy cottage kept in immaculate condition.
Can't recommend this place highly enough....

“A fantastic retreat in lovely surroundings”
Reviewed 28 January 2014 for a stay in January 2014

We've stayed several times at Croft House Barn - once with friends, once with family members - and can't say enough about the place. Few cottages live up to one's expectations as much as Croft House Barn does, and right from the warm welcome we received from owners Stephanie and Malcolm, we were truly captivated by it. It's great on the little touches - the welcome pack was easily the best we have ever come across - and also the key things that are so important to a successful cottage holiday. The décor is to a really high standard, the kitchen and dining room well appointed, the 3 bathrooms luxurious and the bedrooms and living areas spacious and comfortable. There are good walks from the cottage (including to a welcoming local only a minute away) and other hiking areas (including the Manifold Valley and the Roaches) nearby. This is a less well known part of the Peak District but, I feel, as enchanting as the more touristic parts, if not more so. To conclude: a great place to recharge the batteries, and whether you are there as a couple or part of a family or group of friends, you won't be disappointed.

Thank you so much for such an encouraging review! It's very heartening that you've taken the trouble to give feedback on your stay at Croft House Barn and great to have you recommend it to others. We do our utmost to ensure the cottage will be inviting and comfortable and it's particularly rewarding to be able to welcome people for return visits. We're glad you've discovered - like us - that while we're close to big attractions like Dovedale, we're equally accessible for some magnificent but less well known part of the Staffs and Cheshire Peak District. We look forward to an opportunity to welcome you again!
