“Perfect setting for any couple.”
Reviewed 22 October 2013 for a stay in September 2013

What an absolutely fantastic place to stay. Never expected this cottage to be so perfect. My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful break.
Upon arrival the owners could not have been more welcoming. They explained all we needed to know then left us to settle in.
They did not show us upstairs but wow what a surprise when we went up. I never anticipated how quaint and idyllic this setting would be. To reach the main bedroom you have to step through the original roof beams.... I don't recommend this to anyone with restricted mobility but it is such a romantic setting. The decor is fantastic and so clean.
The cottage itself is a 2 min walk from the centre of Ashbourne and all amenities you could possibly want are on hand including pubs and restaurants.
We found de Carlos Italian restaurant which was fantastic but recommend you book in advance as it was very popular.
If you like walking or bike riding TIssington trail is on your doorstep . We did hire some bikes which were great fun.
As you can see we loved every minute of our stay. Our only regret is that we didn't book for longer.
We will definately be returning next year.
