We stayed at mains cottage over the Easter week with friends and family members, the house is beautiful and the surrounding area is breath taking.
It is a perfect place if you have young children, as they can play out safely in the spacious surroundings. Well equipped and by far bigger than the pictures suggest.
We would strongly recommend mains cottage and will most certainly be returning.

“Great cottage in a beautiful setting”
Reviewed 5 March 2015 for a stay in February 2015

The cottage is beautiful, spacious and very well equipped. The living room is more than large enough for everyone in the group to have a seat, as is the kitchen. The bedrooms are all a good size, and having three bathrooms made getting ready very easy. Plenty of parking and walking distance to the local village pub.

The owner answered all our questions and made checking in and out very easy for us.

We would definitely stay again and are already talking about when we can come back!

“Wonderful, relaxing, spacious - faultless!”
Reviewed 28 November 2014 for a stay in November 2014

We stayed at Mains Cottage in November 2014 for a family birthday get together. Our group consisted of ages from 3 months to 70+ years and the cottage suited us all perfectly.

It is extremely spacious, clean, lovely décor and brilliantly equipped.

The layout of the house works extremely well with a large group of people and everything we needed throughout our stay was available, from kitchen equipment to extra bedding.

The owners are so helpful and accommodating. On our arrival there were fresh flowers and a large bowl of fruit, with an extra gift for the birthday boy!

We would highly recommend this fabulous cottage and hope to return ourselves sometime.

“Brilliant stay”
Reviewed 28 October 2014 for a stay in October 2014

We came with 11 girls for a hen weekend. The house was absolutely ideal for our stay. The best features were the huge lounge, which more than fit all 11 of us in quite comfortabley and the large kitchen, which had a large dining table again perfect for our group size.
Another plus was that we had consent hot water for showers even when we had them back to back, although be careful if you're showering in the en suite, if you run hot water in the other upstairs bathroom the shower goes off completely in the en suite!
Overall a really good stay, the surroundings are beautiful aswell and plenty of space for parking. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
