We went there in the third week of October. The restaurant upstairs was closed, but the store downstairs, a "processing" barn and "tasting" were open. Anything and everything black currants are here. We did the tasting for a small fee. Has wonderful "free" samplings of anything made with black currants and the store provides a small gift box that fits three small bottles of black currants jams or sources. It would make a great, and inexpensive, gift to anyone. You choose what you put in! A great place with a nice view. If you stop by one place on Chemin Royal, this should be it whether the restaurant is closed or open.

Have long been a fan of the creme de cassis and recently visited with my husband and another couple on a sunny September day. The tasting of the many products is a treat and there are many nice nooks to relax in with a refreshing beverage or an artisanal gelato. Next time I hope to stop in for lunch. I didn't find any of the artwork on display to be objectionable.

We really enjoyed lunch in the barn. All the cassis products were delicious with lunch . We especially enjoyed the confit pouting and warm goat cheese salad. Try the beer with creme de cassis!

We did not get a chance to eat in the restaurant, though the menu looked really good. In the basement, you can sample different cassis-flavored foods used in the restaurant for free. If you want a cassis liquor tasting, that is about $2. They are not open for dinner.
