We were fortunate to accidentally find this place and managed to get a superb cabin/room. This place typically books up a year in advance so we were lucky to grab, what I believe to be, one of the best rooms. 3 options for booking; Full week (Sat - Sat), 4 days (Sat - Wed), or 3 days (Wed-Sat), If you're expecting a 5 star luxury resort, this is not the place for you. However, if you're expecting a spacious/clean/updated room, with great food, an incredible family atmosphere, and activities to keep even the most picky of kids occupied, then keep reading.

This is a family owned/run resort and by the time you leave, you feel you're one of the family. The kids club is very well run and my two little ones were keen to partake very quickly into our stay. Watercraft and activities to keep you busy all day. Sailboats, water skiing, tubing, tours of the lake, SUP boards, etc, etc, etc. Great beach area and a pool when the weather doesn't cooperate. Then a campfire at night to finish things off. Every night there is something different going on to entertain the guests. The staff are incredible and are truly what makes this place memorable.

NOTE: This is the Muskokas so if you're even close to black fly season, come prepared !!!

Room Tip: There are two rooms, with covered porches, facing the water, that provide the best value.

My wife and I got married here back in September and it was absolutely perfect! The rooms/ venue were great and the scenery was beautiful. Sue and her staff were incredible. They worked tirelessly all weekend so our big day went exactly according to plan. Will definitely be returning again as soon as possible.

Thanks again Sue!

We really enjoyed your wedding weekend! I knew it was meant to be when you came to see the property and you decided before you even left to see any other properties that this is where you wanted to get married!!

And I'm glad everything went so well. The weather cooperated and everyone really seemed to enjoy themselves! Hopefully you'll stop in for a visit sometime.

How on earth can I find the words? We had our wedding here sept 12. The perfect sunshine and Autumn colours were more than we could have asked for. All the planning was via email with Susan. She went the extra mile to make things perfect and easy. Catered to our meal requests and allergies of guests. She was on hand the entire wedding day to ensure everything was cared for. Cake and flowers received, chairs placed, tables set.... no drama! We had lots of family travelling from overseas and so stayed the entire week at Shamrock. All the staff were so good to the kids. Tim took people out boating every day.... he even took my nephews out fishing and when they succeeded at water skiing he had certificates made up to present to them! Every little detail was thought of. Our wedding... our entire week was incredible. There were so many activities on the water and muskoka chairs everywhere to relax and read a book with a view.
Wedding... it is the perfect venue for a smaller, intimate affair. We had 50 people and it was perfection. Susan paid attention to every detail and helped to create an entire wedding day schedule. Hair and makeup can be done on site so don't stress about choosing a venue further away from the city. Oh and a bonfire after our dance! This place is amazing!!! Amazing staff, food, venue.

I know it was stressful for you having to plan a wedding entirely by email but it was a beautiful day for a beautiful wedding. We really enjoyed having the extra few days to spend getting to know you and all of your well-traveled guests from all over the world.

We wish you all the best and hope to see you back for a visit someday!

Shamrock Lodge provides an excellent getaway for adults and kids alike. My family enjoys it so much we have been back 5 times and the kids always hate departure day.

From the beautiful setting on wonderful lake Rosseau, you can choose from a variety of activities, including kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, swimming (lake or pool), tennis, table tennis, shuffle board, pontoon rides, jetski rentals, etc etc. Or simply sit on the dock and relax with a coffee/beer/wine while the kids enjoy the activities at the Kids club.

All meals are included (and delicious) and take a lot of the fuss and hassle of feeding a family away from parents, allowing us to spend more time enjoying the resort. Also, Port Carling is a very short drive away, providing access to a variety of shops, bars, restaurants, ice cream parlors and the LCBO!

The Bryants and their wonderful staff are extremely welcoming and will do their best to make your stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible.

We're already looking forward to our next visit to Shamrock Lodge!

We were there Sept 8-10 2017 for a wedding although chilly, it was the perfect getaway and lovely wedding destination. The staff were amazing and felt like family. The servers were amazing and attentive and the food was DELICIOUS. The grounds are breath taking and there were enough fun activities to pass the time. Loved the fire pit circle as well. Honestly so in love with this place. Thinking about making this a family yearly trip!

Room Tip: pick a room facing the lake front
