Great place to stop if you are travelling as a family before starting the Cabot trail.
The cottage is clean and has everything you need for 4 people. There was also a little park with a slide and swings which was great after a long drive for kids.
Kitchen was practical and we even cooked our own fresh seafood pasta!

Stayed: July 2015

Visit the Cabot trail for a great outdoor experience. Beautiful area. We had a fabulous drive up to the trail from Halifax. several beautiful lakes along the way.Spend a few days here exploring for maximum coverage of the area.

The folks here are very accommodating quite central to food. Pretty much on a golf course. Always feel welcome. We had an overnight er with 7 guys on an ATV expedition We chose the large house and all seven had own bed or cot . Very restful beds and cots are available. Dishwasher and stove and full size fridge 2 baths. Great place to relax in evening after a nice day in the great outdoors

Room Tip: Book early they go fast

Spent 2 nights in a 2 bedroom cottage; travelled with another couple. The cottage was clean and had a full kitchen including utensils. The location is within walking distance of restaurants, a pub, and shops, as well as a local golf course. Housekeeping replenished toiletries and cleaned the kitchen and bathroom. The cottage had a veranda with plastic chairs ... if possible, consider bringing your own camp chairs. Also, people can smoke on the veranda so the neighbours may be smoking. None-the-less, we would stay here again.

Cheticamp is a great location to stay while travelling the Cabot Trail and the surrounding area (e.g., Margaree, Inverness, Cheticamp Island).

Went with our family of 4 and this place was great. We faced the ocean from our deck and really enjoyed the spacious chalet! Cheticamp was a great location and we could definitely have spent more than just the one night there. When you book, make sure you specify the number of people in your party as the price jumps quite a bit if you have more than 2.
