Lovely accommodation, beautiful gardens. I caught the bus, as instructed by the host, the bus driver told me were to get off...easy. Walked towards the direction the bus drove and arrived at the villa, on a corner. I had the smaller apartment to myself, lovely plenty of space (3 rooms) over looking the garden. Every morning the host brought up a delicious & plentiful breakfast. My main complaint would be the mattress was very hard. The apartment I was in was not the grand bed shown first on the site, that mattress might have been better. I enjoyed travelling by bus (30ins) into Venice, easy. I also explored the local area, some beautiful old villas along the canal. The garden is beautiful but there are mosquitoes.
Villa is beautiful and host is wonderful. Only drawback is location. One is required to take a local bus. The bus stop is close to the train station but the bus ride is confusing as the stops are not announced and no sign posts exist to let one know
Where to get off. The villa is actually a home right on the Main Street of Oragio which is about 30 minutes from the train station. The bus back to Venice runs about every half hour. There are two simple restaurants near the villa and the remainder is residential. The price of lodging is much less expensive than those on the canals in Venice,
