This is a cute recreation of an old western town with a lot of shops most of which were closed for the season. If you are lucky you can see bison roaming and the white bison. Really incredible. The main attraction is the World’s Largest Buffalo statue which is pretty amazing.

A typical collection of antique implements, etc of days gone by. The Massive buffalo sculpture at the end of the pioneer street is definitely the highlight. Did not see any live buffalo.

We had a lot of fun taking photos. It seems this place really depends on donations. I could tell that the local volunteers have really put their heart in it. Is it as nice as a paid outdoor walking tour? No. But that's to be expected on donations. Worth stopping by if you are in town.

If you have kids and need a drive break this would be a nice choice. It's free, you get to walk up to the giant buffalo statue, there is a buffalo herd overlook but they are not always visible from the overlook. The access to the buffalo museum is on the same property but we did not do that. Even if you don't have kids you might enjoy a quick walk through.
