This was my second visit to this lovely pub. I was a little unsure as what to expect! Well it’s a treasure, a very extensive menu to cater for most tastes. Tuesday night is steak night, & the quality is very high. Very impressive, as is the quantity.

Thank James B

Great menu choice for the evening meals, the food is well cooked and the portion sizes are are simply massive. The lunchtime menu or "credit crunch lunch" also has a great selection, the portion sizes being smaller than for the evening meals and the cost is lower.

Great pub. Lovely staff will do anything for you. Homemade meals to die for. Go hungry. big portions will end up in front of you. Only got small eating area but booking is advised. Can eat in the bar area if you don't mind. I have gone many times never disappointed

Called into the pub rather late and were told if we made up our mind quick we could order a meal. The food arrived very quickly and was first class. Very large portions and definitely value for money. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Very nice atmosphere in the pub. Will certainly be back and recommend to friends.
