What the most wonderful experience strolling through tropical plants and flowers. We just loved the butterflies and some of the reptiles really were very interesting and they did make for very good photos. This is a must see experience if you are visiting Penang.

My first time here since this attraction was revamped some years back. The place has become a bit upmarket... pricier but the experience is the same as last at the old place but in a cleaner more comfortable environment.

For locals, I would suggest looking up the various discount offers which can amount to more than the 10% off offered with advance ticket purchase.

Butterflies are abound... plenty of opportunities to have one landing on your hand. Please watch where you step. The static exhibits are also good though it would have been better to have someone guiding visitor, especially children, on what the exhibit are all about.

the Butterfly Park in Jalan Teluk Bahang is a very worthwhile excursion, if you like butterflies and related species. The building where it is hooused is huge and exceeded expectations by far. the attractions are obviously the many different species of butterflies that are freely flutting around the generous airie. but equally interesting is all the educational material that is displayed and communicates easily with the visitors without being for nerds or aficionados only. if you have tome, do it, its worth the trip!
