“Excellence at this B&B”

I have made two trips to the Waynesville area (part business + part pleasure) and stayed at Oak Hill on Love Lane B&B both times. After staying in many B&B across the country, I will say that Deb and Shell have the B&B experience down to a science. The house is beautiful and historically intact. Their attention to detail is superb, with nothing left undone or unkempt, ever. The decor is luxurious and the amenities are great. The inn is extremely clean and the high-quality beds are comfortable, as well as the sitting areas around the home. It's surprisingly quiet for an old house, and the decadent, full breakfasts are just some of the wonderful treats to expect when you go. I wouldn't spend my money for lodging anywhere else in the area. I will always go back!

We just returned from 4 days of luxury at the Oak Hill on Love Lane B&B. I sat at the table this morning lamenting that no one was going to serve me a wonderful gourmet breakfast. It is going to take me a while to get used to normal life again. My wife and I met 4 of my siblings and their spouses at Oak Hill and stayed for 4 nights. We are a very mixed group with widely varied tastes and temperaments. The proprietors, Deb and Shel, not only met our every need but often anticipated them. The breakfast each morning was exquisite, beautiful to look at and delicious. Deb took the time to discuss any special tastes or needs of in our group and used that info to make adjustments to their breakfast.
The bottom line is that the elegance, luxury and down right comfort extended into every part of our experience. All 10 of us agreed that this was the best family gathering ever and We will be back!

We have just returned from a family vacation at the Oak Hill B&B. We were overwhelmed with the quiet attentive service that Shell and Deb showered us with. It seemed that we just had to think of something we needed or would like and Shell would instantly appear with it. The breakfasts were unceasingly delicious and creative. Every day Deb handed us a bag with freshly baked muffins and bottles of water to take on our outings for mid day snack. The Inn is tastefully decorated and every room has a faint hint of lavender to soothe and relax us. There is no question that we will be recommending this Bed and Breakfast to all who will listen!

Room Tip: The Mary Margaret suite is very roomy and has a great shower.

Spring time in the mountains is not something to be missed! Deb and Shell welcomed us with open arms after a long trip. As always, our room was as welcoming as ever. It is always fun to walk around Oak Hill and peer into each of the lovely rooms. With each visit we are treated to the addition of many new details. Fresh flowers on the mantle, lovely new artwork on the walls (that is available for purchase), a current magazine to read on the front porch, a new sightseeing book to give ideas on where to visit next, a large selection of menus from many of the local restaurants or just a comfy spot to renergize and renew yourself. The beautiful yard reflects the untold hours that both Deb and Shell spend. It is like having your own private park. Of course we would be remiss in not mentioning the awesome breakfasts each morning. The time spent in planning and testing new recipes is reflected in each meal. No detail is left unnoticed. We look forward to our next visit with great anticipation. If you have the opportunity to travel to this special place you will not be disappointed. Jan & Lee

Room Tip: If you study the website and speak with Deb & Shell they will reserve the room that is the best...

We have just returned from a two night stay in Waynesville at Oak Hill. There is wonderful attention to detail-every aspect of the house and breakfast was terrific. The breakfast was delicious-almond French toast one day-and beautifully served. Deb and Shell cannot do enough for their guests-very helpful with maps, stories, treats for the day and even coupons for Belk! We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay.
