We spent three nights and two full days at Oongkalkada Wilderness Camp with Neville, his wife Jo and children. It was fabulous. Their home is situated near the banks of the mighty Fitzroy River and surrounded by many springs on Udialla Station.
We came away refreshed in mind, body, soul and spirit. It was opportunity to connect with country of the first nation people and hear Neville's stories.
A great understanding and appreciation of the land we live on and increased knowledge was gained of the past stories of this area.. the more you learn, the more you realise what you don't know.
The camp is comfortable with spacious eco tents with ensuites. The meals were delicious and the atmosphere and pace of the day is relaxed... it's Up-tu-yu !
Greetings from Ric, Julie, Kerstin and Michael.
