The food was delicious. The service was very efficient and friendly where you are welcomed as soon as you walk in the door. The beef schnitzel was very tasty & tender. The garlic prawns were simply delicious. A definite must for dinner if you are in the area.

Love the Valley Hotel. Good variety of fresh tasty food, daily specials and a pensioner menu as well. Very reasonable prices and very full plates !!!
Service is typically country, welcoming and so friendly.

Had lunch here and the menu was the most extensive I have seen. They catered for gluten free and the portion was plentiful. The food and the service were excellent and delicious . The hotel is fresh and roomy inside and right on the Main Street.

Today we met with some friends to eat here at midday.
The meal choices were many & varied.
Each of us had a different meal & all of us found our individual choice delicious.
I tend to get tired of eating chips when dining out & asked whether it was possible to have an alternative potato variation.
The man-at-the-counter offerred me roast potatoes & vegetables, which made my T-bone Steak with mushroom sauce a really special meal, I can tell you.
The dining room was very nice with large windows to look out on the street scene.
Thank you man-at-the-counter (I should have got your name) & your Chef, too !

Stayed here on our way through to Adelaide in the New Year. For $110/night, expected something a little better than what we got. Room needed a good clean. Had to move the sofa slightly, only to find filth underneath. Spa bath needs replacing as it was old and rusty in spots. Cobwebs in corners. Blinds could not be fully opened as they were "locked" to a certain point. Windows were filthy with dust and cobwebs, as were the cornices.

Sofa beds needed replacing. Had to sit right on the edge next to the armrest to stop from sinking down in the middle.

If the rooms were renovated and updated, it would be a great place to stay.
